A beautiful old fashioned flower this month is the aromatic and long lasting SWEET PEA. Sweetpeas (Lathyrus odoratus) are among my favourite flowers.

The fragrant flowers, with their delicate tissue-paper petals, burst into bloom in late winter.The beautiful sweetpea are also very easy to grow, and their fabulous ‘cut and come again’ characteristic enables them to keep producing flowers right up until the first wave of hot weather strikes in late spring. Warm Congratulations to Rebecca and her husband!
We created a teardrop style bouquet for Rebecca, using White lilies, white Singapore orchids and cream David Austin rose with some Julia and Sahara coloured roses as well. Her Bridesmaids had clustered posies of Cream David Austin roses with Julia and Sahara roses as well. The tables at the reception had simple fish bowl vases filled with a mixture of Julia and Sahara roses and magnolia foliage- Simply gorgeous!
